Peptide storage

Storage depends mostly on whether the peptide is still powder or already mixed with water.

Powder (lyophilised)

Unmixed powder is usually kept in the freezer for long-term storage or the fridge for shorter periods, sealed and away from light.

Mixed with BAC water

Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge at 2 to 8 °C. About 28 days is the common working window. Avoid freezing a mixed vial.

When to throw it away

Discard a vial that turns cloudy, changes colour, has particles, or was left warm for a long time.
